Today, November 5th is the long awaited election day. We urge all of you who are eligible to vote to go out to your local polling locations and be the people! If your parent, guardian, neighbor, sibling, relative, friend, or anyone that you may know is eligible to vote, encourage them to visit his/her polling location and vote! As cliche as it may sound, one vote may determine the outcome of the election.
If you do not know where your polling location is, Google has created a handy polling place finder: https://voter.njsvrs.com/elections/polling-lookup.html
If you get an error on the finder above, please call the Commissioner of Registration for Middlesex Country at 732-745-3471.
Again, thank you to all who participated in this year's election activism activities. In the span of two months, we have done a lot as a chapter to be politically active. We have had kids visits over 1000 doors for Cory Booker's senate campaign. We have had kids intern for candidates in the senate and gubernatorial elections. We have participated in debates regarding the candidate's policies. We have done a mini mock election for the senate elections. We have canvassed, visited doors, and become more educated in today's politics. We have essentially embodied being the people to the fullest extent. The executive board could not be more proud to have such active members in our JSA chapters, and we have a lot more amazing opportunities planned for the upcoming year. That being said, if you ever have any ideas for activism, please let us know. Don't forget to get out the vote today and keep checking in at
