Recently the results to the 2014-2015 Mid Atlantic Cabinet Applications were released and I am honored to announce that several members of our chapter made it on the list! Congratulations to Hasin Tasneem, Ahan Sikri, Nikita Rednam, and Abhishek Dutta for making cabinet. Our chapter is excited to have SBHS representation, especially from such hardworking and dedicated members. These positions are all well deserved and the whole SBHS chapter is excited to see you all achieve great things.
Seniors:
Abhishek Dutta, Editor-in-Chief of the NJR Star
Juniors:
Hasin Tasneem, Vice Mayoral Chief of Staff
Ahan Sikri, NJR Director of Debate
Nikita Rednam, NJR Director of Debate
What is Cabinet/NJR/MAS?
Cabinet is led by elected officials for the Mid Atlantic State (elected during Spring State each year). They are...
Ruth Boyajian, South Jersey Homeschool, MAS Governor
Simran Singh, Conestoga High School, MAS Lieutenant Governor
Ian Baum, Marlboro High School, NJR Mayor
Nithin Vejendla, Rutgers Preparatory School, NJR Vice Mayor
Being on Cabinet essentially means you are working under one of these officials for the following JSA year to successfully plan, organize, and basically work on everything JSA related. Of course, each position has their own tasks.
The MAS stands for Mid Atlantic State, which is our state and one of the ten states that creates JSA.
The NJR stands for New Jersey Region, which our region, and one of the regions that forms the MAS.
Once again, congratulations on behalf of the SBHS chapter and its' members!
Good luck,
Khamis Isayeva
Secretary
